The Virgin Mobile Festival will return this year and once again admission is free. Virgin Mobile FreeFest will take place on September 25 at Maryland’s Merriweather Post Pavilion. The confirmed artists include: Pavement, M.I.A., Ludacris, LCD Soundsystem, Joan Jett, Chromeo, Thievery Corporation, Matt and Kim, Jimmy Eat World, the Temper Trap, Yeasayer, Neon Indian and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. In addition, Trombone Shorty will lead a second line parade. Additional artists will yet be added over the coming weeks.
