Gov’t Mule will not tour in 2011. The veteran jamband formed in 1994 as an Allman Brothers Band side project and has toured heavily over the past 16 years. The group is expected to make some special appearances in 2011, including multiple shows at its Island Exodus event from January 27-31. An announcement from the band reads, “Looking ahead, Gov’t Mule does not have plans to tour in 2011 and will only be playing very few select shows.
