Port Washington, NY’s Landmark on Main Street has confirmed its 2010-11 season. They Might Be Giants will open the series on Saturday, October 16. The band, who won a 2009 Grammy for Best Children’s Album, will give two performances: a Family Show at 3 PM and a Rock Show for age 14 to adult at 8 PM. Upcoming show highlights at the venue include: Raul Malo (10/23), John Oates (10/28), Diane Birch (1/22), Buckwheat Zydeco (2/5), Shawn Colvin (2/12), Loudon Wainwright III (3/5) and Alejandro Escovedo (4/29).
