Some Cat From Japan—an all-star Jimi Hendrix tribute band—will perform at New York’s Sullivan Hall. The show will kick off after Prince and the Disco Biscuits’ shows uptown at 11 PM. Due to this weekend’s blizzard, drummer Eric Bolivar (Bonerama) was unable to make it into the city. He will be replaced by noted session musician/Charlie Hunter collaborator Tony Mason. The rest of the band includes guitarist Will Bernard, keyboardist Nigel Hall, guitarist Scott Metzger and bassist Ron Johnson. Johnson recently performed as part of the new Warren Haynes Band.
