The Bear Creek Music Festival will return for a fifth year on November 11-13, 2011. Tickets to Bear Creek, which once again will take place at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, will go on sale this coming Saturday March 5. The line-up already had been quite strong, with confirmed appearances from Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood, The funky Meters, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Lettuce, a set from Medeski Martin & Wood as well as John Scofield, George Porter Jr. and their Piety Street project. Over 40 acts have now been added to the festival line-up including: Soulive, Dr. Lonnie Smith, The New Mastersounds, Anders Osborne Trio, The Coup featuring Boots Riley, Marco Benevento Trio, Zach Deputy, Break Science, Eric Krasno & Chapter 2, Breakestra and Beats Antique. Pre-Party information for music that will take place on November 9 and 10 will be announced soon as well.
