Yo La Tengo, Les Savy Fav and The Thermals will perform at Chicago’s Green Music Fest. The third annual eco-friendly festival will take place in the Wicker Park section of the Windy City on June 25 and 26. The Green Music Fest will be produced in the most eco-friendly way possible by utilizing bio-diesel fuel operated generators, biodegradable plastic cups, recycling and composting options and free bike valet courtesy of Active Transportation Alliance and Special Service Area 29. The festival will also feature green vendors, local retailers, arts & crafts and kid’s activities. There will be a $5 suggested donation for admission to GMF. Additional acts will be confirmed in the coming months.
