Tea Leaf Green is currently gearing up for the June 7 release of its new studio album Radio Tragedy. The group will support that release with some cross-country touring this summer. This evening, however, the group’s Trevor Garrod will perform in Berkeley, CA with his solo group which he has dubbed The Fortunates (his recent solo release is entitled Miss Fortune ). Garrod and his group, which also features Mark Anthony Calderon on bass, Daria Johnson on drums and Chris Haugon on guitar, will take the stage at 9PM, on a bill opening for Whiskerman at the Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center. Garrod has explained via Facebook, “The Fortunates sound great. I got some new tunes to share. Come on out! I play first at 9PM sharp! then stick around for the inimitable Whiskerman.”
