Several notable southern musicians have formed the new band Big Hat. Singer/guitarist Keith Gattis will front the group, which also features former Black Crowes guitarist Audley Freed and Sheryl Crow guitarist Peter Stroud. The band will also include Lynyrd Skynyrd/Bottle Rockets bassist Robert Kearns, funk/soul keyboard icon Ike Stubblefield and Wallflowers drummer Fred Eltringham. Big Hat has already entered the studio and fans can preview their new songs on Twitter. Additional show information will be available on the band’s official Facebook page.
