The inaugural Shoe Fest will take place on September 9-11 in Earlville, IL. The locale will be Stonehouse Park, a 100 acre property that offers an oak forest and a swimming pond with a sand beach. The fest has just posted its daily schedule, which confirms the set times for the 30+ groups that will appear. Daily highlights include Henhouse Prowlers and Family Groove Company on Friday, Great American Taxi and Strange Arrangement on Saturday and Kyle Hollingsworth Band and Split Lip Rayfield on Sunday. Along with the music, Shoe Fest will offer a Wellness Workshop, a Hula Hoop Workshop, Frisbee Golf and performances by fire technicians. Three day passes are now on sale for $50 and admission is free for kids 13 and under.
