Both with the Grateful Dead and his own bands, Jerry Garcia drew from a variety of songbooks. Around the holidays, those songbooks also occasionally included some Christmas-themed music. In time for Christmas—and Hanukkah too—our sister site Relix.com is currently streaming two Garcia holiday selections. So while you are opening your gifts, watching the yule log or lighting the menorah, be sure to put on the Grateful Dead’s rendition of “Run Rudolph Run” or Jerry Garcia Band’s “Jingle Bells.”
