The members of Galactic are in the midst of a marathon JazzFest run. On Friday, the group performed at New Orleans’ Tipitinas. In addition to Living Colour vocalist Corey Glover, who is currently on the road as Galactic’s singer, the band invited out several additional guests. A few songs into their set, Galactic brought out James Andrews, lead singer and trumpeter of The New Birth Brass Band, for the Carnivale Electrico track “Karate.” Rebirth Brass Band’s Corey Henry, who is also on tour with Galactic, also performed throughout the show. Galactic will play a free in-store set at the LA Music Factory at 7 PM local time today.
