Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers are slated to perform at San Francisco’s The Independent on October 27. The show will not only serve as a homecoming for the band after seven weeks on the road but also falls on Nicki’s wedding anniversary (the singer married Mother Hips frontman Tom Bluhm five years ago). Thus, the band has dubbed the evening The Wedding Party, a wedding celebration from all. The band encourages fans to dress to tie the knot, saying “Never thought you’d wear your wedding dress again? Here’s your chance! Spend a fortune on that bridesmaid dress you hate? Bust it out! That handsome suit hanging in your closet need some attention? Now is the time! OR take a 180 and put a Halloween twist on the whole wedding vibe! Bride of Frankenstein? Corpse bride? However you choose to celebrate the Wedding Party we can’t wait to see you all there!” Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers will perform at New York’s Mercury Lounge this evening.
