A number of Jam Cruise performers will take part in a pre-jam tied to the event. The NOLA Funk Jam will take place at Hollywood, FL’s Native Florida Tap Room & Music Hall this evening. Funky Meters guitarist Brian Stoltz & Alligator Alley Allstars and Roosevelt Collier of Lee Boys will open the show. Then, at midnight Meters bassist George Porter Jr., Stoltz and “many special guests from New Orleans, South Florida and the Jam Cruise” will play a late night set. Jam Cruise sets sail from Ft. Lauderdale, FL tomorrow.
