The Felice Brothers, Tift Merritt, The Mountain Goats, Rayland Baxter and Iris DeMent have joined the lineup for the annual Newport Folk Festival. They join a lineup that already includes: Jim James, Andrew Bird, Jason Isbell, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, Spirit Family Reunion, Shovels and Rope, The Lumineers, The Last Bison, Houndmouth,
Father John Misty, JD McPherson and Kingsley Flood. The annual folk festival will take place from July 26-28 at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, RI. Additional acts will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
