Phish drummer Jon Fishman is one of five nominees for the new MTV VMA category Best Actor in a Tour Announcement Video VMA (Non-Festival Category). Fish was nominated for his recent Apocalypse Now spoof /Summer Tour announcement video. Fishman has a long history of announcement videos dating back to Phish’s 2010 summer tour. Trey Anastasio is also reportedly working on new Broadway musical based on the Tour Announcement video dubbed Hands on a Soft Body.
