Robert Glasper & Jason Moran will kick-off the Blue Note 75th Anniversary celebrations with a concert at Town Hall in New York City on January 8 as part of Winter Jazzfest. The event will mark 75 years since Blue Note Records’ very first recording session with boogie-woogie pianists Albert Ammons and Meade Lux Lewis. The concert will also feature special guests such as saxophonist Ravi Coltrane and vocalist Bilal, along with bassist Alan Hampton and drummer Eric Harland. Tickets to the show are now on sale.
