Moon Hooch’s Wenzl McGowen and Mike Wilbur sat in with Lotus at Terminal 5 in New York City on Saturday night. The saxophonists, who played the night’s opening set, made their appearance for “Basin Benin” in the middle of the first set.
Saturday night’s show marked Lotus’ first performance in New York City since last year’s three-night run at the Brooklyn Bowl. Other highlights from the performance included a cover of Daft Punk’s “Around The World,” whcih was sandwiched in the middle of “Flower Sermon” to close out the second set.
