Connecticut jamband Eggy have unveiled details for their 2023 Spring Tour focusing on the Northeast, Midwest and southern states. The ensemble, comprised of guitarist and vocalist Jake Brownstein, keyboardist Dani Battat, bassist Michael Goodman and drummer Alex Bailey, will round out their current winter tour at the end of March and take a month-long break before they pick up again in the spring.
The band’s spring tour will start at the Pearl Street Warehouse in Washington, D.C., on April 27 and before they the Kitchen Dwellers the following night, April 28, at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Eggy will then play at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, N.J., on April 29 before heading south for the Daze Between New Orleans in New Orleans on May 3, which will also feature Goose, Tank and the Bangas, Neal Francis, David Shaw and more.
Eggy will continue across the southern states after the gathering during the days between Jazz Fest weekends and play the Back Forty Beer Company Birmingham in Birmingham, Ala., on May 4, followed by a stay at the Asheville Music Hall on May 5 in Asheville, N.C. The group will perform at The Basement in Nashville, Tenn., on May 6 and then head south again to the Charleston Pour House in Charleston, S.C., on May 10.
The quartet will then make festival appearances at Echoland Music Festival in Live Oak, Fla., on May 11 and the Spaceberry festival in Eureka Springs, Ark., on May 13. They’ll head back to the Northeast to perform at the gorgeous Fillmore in Philadelphia on May 18 and continue north to perform at Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Mass., the following day on May 19.
Eggy’s spring tour currently has two dates, May 20 and June 8, whose details are yet to be announced. Between these dates, they will have a show at RiversEdge at Marcum Park in Hamilton, Ohio, on May 25 and a set at Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Ill., which will commence from May 26 through 29. The group will also play at the iconic jam institution Nectar’s in Burlington, Vt., on June 9 and Portland’s House of Music and Events in Portland, Maine, on June 10. Their spring 2023 tour will conclude with a show at the Press Room in Portsmouth, N.H., on June 23.
