Umphrey’s McGee have announced that guitarist Jake Cinninger will not perform at their upcoming gigs at SweetWater 420 Festival in Atlanta on April 28 through 30.
The band shared the news with their fans on Twitter; they wrote, “Umphrey’s McGee will perform our three shows at Sweetwater 420 Festival without guitarist Jake Cinninger while he takes some necessary time to work on his health and well-being.”
They went on to add, “Though we will perform mainly as a five-piece, we will welcome a handful of guests throughout the weekend.” Umphrey’s McGee continued, “We look forward to having Jake back with us next month, and seeing you in Atlanta this weekend.”
The news comes a day before the band is set to take the stage at the beloved Peach State event. For additional information and announcements, follow the band on Twitter.
