Joe Russo’s Almost Dead recently wrapped up a three-night livestream run, with the first two nights hosted on the brand new Relix Channel on Twitch and the final night on FANS. Relix has shared a pro-shot video from night two, containing the band’s performance of “Eyes of the World.”
In addition to the soaring jam the JRAD delivers, the video also contains the moment in which the venue of the livestream was revealed. Up until this song, and for the entire previous night, the band had been performing in front of a black curtain, obscuring any effort to determine on which stage they were playing.
As the jam out of “The Music Never Stopped” finally settled in to the familiar opening chords of “Eyes of the World,” the black curtain finally opened, revealing the legendary Capitol Theatre behind them.
