Bob Dylan will return to New York City from Nov. 23 to Dec. 6, with a 10-night run at the city’s historic Beacon Theatre.
The residency will follow in the venue’s longstanding tradition of multi-night runs with acts like the Allman Brothers Band, Steely Dan and – most recently – Tedeschi Trucks Band.
The shows will come at the end of the famed songwriter’s college/university-heavy fall tour, and give Dylan the chance to settle in and, presumably, dig deep into his songbook.

September 24, 2019 at 12:59 pmDylan’s setlists tend to be repetitive but in his defense he tends to play one night than off to somewhere else for the next show. He doesn’t have a following that moves with him night after night. With so many shows at the The Beacon, what he does, remains to be seen. All I know is he is an icon and has and will stand very high up as to the history of music. Even comes up in Burn’s latest as to country music as his work with Johnny Cash. Not going to be around much longer, it will be a dark day when he passes on, get out to see him.

September 24, 2019 at 8:50 amI agree. Just should be prohibited from performing in public. Howard Stern did a bit where they tried to identify his popular songs as done live in concert and it took forever. Exactly my experience in the 15th row…

September 23, 2019 at 6:19 pmIt will be 10 shows with identical sets, night after night. Dig deep into his catalog, who told you that, it’s purely speculation and definitely not supported by fact or history! Dylan has been playing the same tour set with little variation from tour to tour, virtually no variation for years! And that will be the same for all 10 nights at the Beacon.
Klaiweed
September 23, 2019 at 4:47 pmAnd the exact same set for ten nights!

September 23, 2019 at 3:14 pmGave up a long time ago on this mumble mouth mangler of his great songs. Took me at least 5 shows before kissing them goodbye. He should have retired from touring years ago and just fed Jerry, Bobby & Phil his work.

September 23, 2019 at 2:52 pm“dig deep into his songbook”
thats hilarious. 3 spot, 6th spot might be different on any given night, rest of the spots will be THE SAME every show like it has been for the past 10 years.
