Neil Young has added to his sparse 2019 touring schedule with an Indianapolis show featuring backing band Promise of the Real.
The newly added show falls on Sept. 19 at Indy’s Murat Theatre, just two days before Young and POTR play Farm Aid at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Wisconsin. Young will also make an appearance at the Harvest Moon benefit concert in California on Sept. 14.
A Neil Young Archives exclusive pre-sale for the Indianapolis show is currently underway.

August 10, 2019 at 5:20 amI have been fortunate enough to catch Neil Young since my first show in 1989 at some small theater in NYC Solo Acoustic. Seen him with Crazy Horse, & Booker T & MG’s and other various incarnations over the years but Neil Young w/ The Promise Of The Real… is the BEST BAND with him in my Not so humble Opinion. Desert Trip and the Bottlerock festival this past summer in Napa California! Simply the Best!! Go go go if you can afford and have the time!!!!

August 9, 2019 at 9:03 pmI guess you didn’t know that Neil Young’s Trans project was inspired by the incredible work that he and his wife Peggi did to communicate with their son Ben, who suffered from severe cerebral palsy. This is the work that led them to open the Bridge School to help many, many others with a similar affliction and perform all those phenomenal benefits in Mountain View. As is usually the case when somebody criticizes an artist as brilliant as Neil Young, the work simply went over your head.
