April 18, 2019 at 1:40 pmFurthur was damn good, but I would take (that era) Jimmy and Warren over Furthur any day. Love Bobby and think John holds his own, but (for my money) the Q is where it’s at. With that said, I am one of those who believes Warren lost the ability to play dead music well before the 2009 Dead tour. Known him for years and hell of a guy, but he tends to make it too complicated at times and the rest of the band struggles. I’d support Furthur if they gave it another run!

TRUTH BE TOLD
April 17, 2019 at 1:17 pmAny year of Furthur was much, much better post Jerry. Phil had gold in his hands and let Jill steal it away. Fucking waitress. Read “Fare Thee Well”, an eye opener for the real truth!
Why?
April 17, 2019 at 1:14 pmWhy can’t we get a line up like this during jazz fest? You playing in an improv Mecca and you decide to just play with your kids shit band?

April 17, 2019 at 12:10 pmLooks good, but the “Q” is the only Phil band that could rival the Dead. They actually sounded better than anything the Dead put out post-Brent. Check out 4/20/01 or the ’01 New Years run and you’ll be know what’s up….hell just about anything from 2000-2002 is unbelievably tightly loose.
