B.B. King Blues Club and Velour Music have announced the New Legends of Jazz Guitar concert slated for March 2 in New York City. The line-up features guitarists David Fiuczynski, Rodney Jones, Eric Krasno (Soulive), Brad Barr (The Slip), Will Bernard and Mark Whitfield, who will all be playing songs that have influenced them over the years. The house band for the evening will be comprised of Soulives Neal Evans (organ) and Sam Kininger (alto saxophone), The Squads Mark Kelly (bass) and Charles Haynes (drums). All profits from the event will be donated to Youth-to-Youth programs sponsored by the United Nations.
