Bassist Garrett Sayers performed with Addison Groove Project yesterday at the Berkshire Mountain Music Festival in Great Barrington, MA. Sayers (The Motet, Miracle Orchestra) sat in for Hiphopanonamous midway through the show. DJ Mr. Rourke performed with the group for the entire set, adding turntable effects throughout.
Rourke is a regular contributor with the band and also appears on its most recent album, Allophone. Sayers recently began touring with The Motet, but hails from Addisons hometown of Boston, MA, where he has performed with AGP keyboardist Rob Marscher in various side projects.
Addison Groove Project plays August 22 at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. For details, visit www.addisongroove.com.
