Bassist George Porter Jr. (The Meters, Runnin’ Pardners) will tour with Govt Mule this fall, beginning in October. Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools will perform with Mule core members Warren Haynes and Matt Abts for a handful of dates in September, along with keyboardist Danny Louis, who will also tour with the group in October. The initial October schedule includes stops in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis and Denver. A full national tour is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Look for other special guest to join the band at various dates this fall.
