Guitarist Will Bernard will perform with his east coast project Otherbug this month. (The group’s name is a variation of Bernard’s other band, Motherbug, which is based in San Francisco.) Otherbug will play three dates: October 16 at Club Metronome in Burlington, VT, October 17 at Bill’s Bar in Boston, MA (opening for Lake Trout) and October 18 at Tobacco Road in New York City. The group’s line-up includes drummer Joe Russo (Fat Mama, Electron), bassist Justin Wallace (formerly of ulu) and keyboardist Marco Benevento (the Jazz Farmers).
Bernard is currently touring with Robert Walter’s 20th Congress. For details, visit www.willbernard.com.
