Peter Prince & The Trauma Unit, the ensemble fronted by guitarists Prince (Moon Boot Lover) and Johnny Trama (Rockett Band), has announced several February dates. The band also features drummer Eric Kalb (Deep Banana Blackout), bassist Justin Wallace (formerly of ulu), tenor saxophonist Paul Ahlstrand (Susan Tedeschi, Ronnie Earl), trombonist Brian Thomas (John Browns Body) and a rotating cast of keyboardists including Paul Wolstencroft (Jiggle), Jesse Gibbon (Schleigho) and Marco Benevento (Jazz Farmers, Organ & Drum). The group will play February residencies at both Harpers Ferry in Boston (Wednesdays) and Tobacco Road in New York City (Thursdays). A two-night stand at the Snow Barn in West Dover, VT on February 14 and 15 is also planned.
