Bob Weir sat in with moe. for the last four songs of the first set on Saturday night at the Fillmore in San Francisco. He played guitar and sang on ‘Cassidy,’ ‘Jack Straw,’ ‘Playin’ in the Band’ and ‘One More Saturday Night.’ Weir, who attended moe.‘s post-Jammys show at the BB King’s place on 10/2/02 but did not play that evening, first joined the group on stage during the 1997 Further Festival. ‘Cassidy’ and ‘Playin’‘ were both new songs for moe. which continued its penchant this tour to introduce new covers. The previous night at the Fillmore it offered a version of Johnny Cash’s ‘Folsom Prison Blues.’
moe’s next performance is slated for March 8 at the Langerado Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
