The New Deal has been busy working on a new studio album due out this fall. It features some special guests and is a ‘definite departure’ from the last disc, according to the group’s website. A specific release date has not yet been set. The band will continue work on the project throughout the summer, while also playing select dates. One recent addition to the itinerary is a free show with Reid Genauer and the Assembly of Dust on Friday July 18. The bands will perform in Christopher Columbus Park, located in downtown Boston. The New Deal will take the stage at 5:30 p.m., followed by AOD.
The trio will appear at Bonnaroo this Sunday on the ‘Which Stage’ at 12:30 p.m. The full schedule is available at www.thenewdeal.ca.
