Vocalist Anastasia Rene has become the latest member of New York-based Gent Treadly. Anastasia (Percy Hill, Reid Genauer) first sat in with the group nearly a year ago and has collaborated with the band several times recently. There’s
no doubt that Anastasia’s vocal prowess dwarfs the vocal efforts of anyone
in this band, says bassist Greg Koerner. The first time she opened her mouth everyone knew she was the real deal. It is such a joy to work with such a gifted musician and
wonderful person.’ The band plans to record a new album this summer.
The next gig is Friday at CODA in New York City. For more dates, visit www.gent-treadly.com.
