Widespread Panics John Bell will perform a solo acoustic set at a benefit concert on August 16 at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, CO. The show is a celebration of the life of Bobby Silverman, a Vail resident and middle school teacher as well as a devoted music fan, who died unexpectedly on May 7 at the age of 34 from heart disease. Other confirmed acts include The Radiators and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Look for more acts to be announced soon. Tickets go on sale July 23, at the box office at 8 a.m. and via phone (970-476-2918) beginning at noon.
All proceeds will be donated to the Canon and Tyler Silverman Memorial Fund, named after Bobbys two sons, ages 3 and 2 respectively.
