Following performances at last summer’s Gathering of the Vibes and in late November at Toad’s Place, Deep Banana Blackout will return to the stage for one additional gig. The show, which will take place at Tuxedo Junction in Danbury, CT on Friday February 13 will present the classic octet with Jen Durkin (vocals), Fuzz (guitar), Benj LeFevre (bass), Rob Somerville (sax), Eric Kalb (drums), Volo (trombone), Cyrus Madan (keys) and Johnny Durkin (percussion). No plans have been announced beyond this show (and the band members currently are focussing on other projects) but the group’s web site remains up and running, so one never knows.
