Umphrey’s McGee will perform at Chicagos The Chill festival this Sunday, joining an eclectic bill which includes Cake, the Violent Femmes, Jazz Mandolin Project, and Los Lobos. Taking place in Chicago from August 20-22, The Chill will be held on the grounds of the Windy Citys New City YMCA. The three-day event will also fold in the traveling Bob Marley Roots Rock Reggae Festival, which is the first outing to unite Bobs sons Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Damian, and Ky-Mani. Music will run from 4:30pm -10:30pm Friday and from 3pm-10:30pm Saturday and Sunday.
