The Los Lonely Boys have pulled out of their late summer amphitheater run alongside the Allman Brothers. The Los Lonely Boys posted the following message online: The band has been touring for 13 months and were reaching burn out. In order for all of us, fans included, to be able to experience LLB’s art and music we have to allow them time to be human, heal and be with their families. The Texas-trio is currently enjoying the surprise success of the single Heaven, this summers sleeper hit.
Quickly filling their vacant opening spots, the Allman Brothers have confirmed a number of intriguing support acts, including The Slip (August 20-21), the Bottle Rockets (August 24-31), the Wailers (September 4), and Warren Haynes (September 5). The Oakdale Theater has also confirmed that the Allman Brothers will perform a special Evening With show on August 22. Additional opening acts will be posted when confirmed.
