Carlos Santana will perform alongside the Los Lonely Boys at the 2004 Latin Grammy Awards, which takes place September 1 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA. At the star-studded event, Santana will also receive the Latin Recording Academys Person Of The Year award. An all-star Santana tribute featuring Black Eyed Peas, Ozomatli, Rob Thomas, Dave Matthews, and Carter Beauford, among others, is planned at the nearby Westin Century Plaza Hotel & Spa on August 30.
