Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews Band, The Allman Brothers Band, Jack Johnson, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Yonder Mountain String Band and Govt Mule are among the artists scheduled to perform at the fourth annual Bonnaroo Music Festival. The three-day music and arts festival will take place from June 10-12, 2005, on the same 700-acre Manchester, Tennessee farm which has been its home since 2002.
Continuing down a path mapped out during its second year, Bonnaroo has expanded outside the jamband gene, adding marquee indie-acts such as Modest Mouse, The Mars Volta, Joanna Newsom, Rilo Kiley, Secret Machines, M. Ward and Iron & Wine to its bill. This years lineup also includes Bela Fleck Acoustic Trio, John Prine, My Morning Jacket, Keller Williams, STS9, Earl Scruggs & Friends, Joss Stone, O.A.R., Toots and the Maytals, Umphrey’s McGee, Ozomatli, Drive-By Truckers, Particle, Xavier Rudd, Ray Lamontagne, The Gourds, Donna The Buffalo, John Butler Trio, Ollabelle, Citizen Cope, Brazilian Girls and Madeleine Peyroux. Karl Densons Tiny Universe will also return to the festival for the first time since its inaugural year, while Widespread Panic will celebrate its return to the road with two, two-set performances.
