While many music fans in the northeast will be at BB Kings Blues Club tonight to help support tsunami victims while enjoying some fine music (with Benevento/Russo Duo, Steve Kimock Band, Scott Metzger, Eric Krasno, DJ Logic and Adam Deitch), another opportunity will present itself in a few weeks. Railroad Earth has announced a night at Mexicali Blues Cafe in Teacnck, NJ on February 20 to benefit Mercy Corps (which ‘alleviates suffering, poverty, and oppression by helping people build secure, productive, and just communities’). Tony Trischka, Buddy Cage, Larry Campbell, Barry Mitterhoff and John Ginty are among the perfomers who will sit with with Railroad Earth. Meg Griffin will host the night.
