The Allman Brothers Band are now off until August 12 and after Warren Haynes sat out this past Saturdays Philadelphia show for health reasons, many of his fans are happy that he will spend some time off the road. Having said that though, Warren being Warren, he wont let all two and a half weeks pass without taking the stage. Thus on August 6, Govt Mule will open the night for Trey Anastasio at Jones Beach Amphitheatre. In addition, this coming Sunday, Haynes will sit in with Mountain at the Brookhaven Amphitheater in Farmingville, New York. Haynes has performed the groups signature song Mississippi Queen over the years, so his participation is quite fitting.
