On September 20 New York City will launch two major benefits to aid those in the Gulf Coast. From the Big Apple to The Big Easy will encompass all-star performances at both Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall. Thursday morning is the on-sale date for the show at Radio City which will feature Trey Anastasio, Tom Waits, Dave Matthews, Galactic with the Mardi Gras Indians, John Mayer Trio and Joss Stone. Tickets for the Katrina benefit at MSG are already on sale featuring numerous New Orleans-based musicians such as: The Meters, Allen Toussaint, Buckwheat Zydeco, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Fats Domino, Irma Thomas, Kermit Ruffins and The Neville Brothers, along with a roster of artists that includes: Simon & Garfunkel, Elvis Costello, Jimmy Buffet, John Fogerty, Lenny Kravitz, Elton John and Stevie Nicks.
