Three of the groups that joined the Big Wu at its 2005 Family Reunion festival will also take part in the groups New Years Eve event. Wu Years Eve 2005 will take place at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium on December 31, with Trampled By Turtles and God Johnson (featuring former Wu guitarist Jason Flagader) on the main stage and lobby/tweener sets from White Iron Band. The evening will close with a jam session featuring members of all four groups. In addition, as with past years, the Big Wu will be facilitating a food drive and soliciting donations to benefit the Red Cross and Second Harvest Food Shelves. Plus, the group will dazzle concertgoers with a range of pre-show card games that will yield Wu-related prizes (card counting, ace sequencing and shuffle tracking not encouraged).
