After a delay imposed by Hurricane Katrina, Papa Grows Funk has confirmed a new release date for its live album. Live at the Leaf will hit on April 11 and the band will mark the occasion appropriately with a performance at the club where its music originated. The Maple Leaf Bar will host the CD release party on Monday April 10, although the action will likely extend into the 11th. As for immediate tour plans, PGF is New Orleans tonight and Monday, followed by a brief west coast tour. Looking ahead, the group will appear at the Jazz and Heritage Festival and then beyond that, will travel to Hanover, Germany for two shows in late May.
