The Everyone Orchestra will host the Pangaea Project Benefit, which returns to Portland’s Crystal Ballroom on April 14 and 15. Last year the event raised $16,000 for the Pangaea Project, which works with teenagers from underserved neighborhoods in local and international service-learning projects. The Pangaea Project promotes the development of leadership skills, increases global awareness, and fosters a commitment to work towards social change, profoundly transforming both the participants and their communities. Returning from last years Pangaea Project Benefit line-up will be Jon Fishman, Scott Law and conductor Matt Butler. Other members of the EO will include Jamie Masefield, Tony Furtado, Jason Hann (String Cheese Incident) Kai Eckhardt (Garaj Mahal), Reggie Watts (Maktub, Soulive) and Tye North.
