On Saturday, Mike Gordon returned to his alma matter, the University of Vermont, to visit his old friend Warren Haynes. Part of UVM’s annual SpringFest, Haynes and Gov’t Mule performed an extended set, alongside such acts as Toots and the Maytals and Soulive. During Gov’t Mule’s set, Gordon also sat-in on ‘Banks of the Deep End,’ a number he co-wrote with Haynes during the Deep End sessions. Gov’t Mule’s spring tour continues tomorrow at Sayreville, NJ’s Starland Ballroom.
