After successfully raising over $300,000 for charity at it recent Voices Against Brain Cancer Benefit, the Bomb Squad has started to gear-up for its next round of live appearances. Over the weekend the group will support The Funk Mob, an all-star cast of Parliament Funkadelic members, at a pair of New England shows. On Friday, the funk group will perform at Boston’s Middle East Club, while Saturday the group’s will appear at Hartford, CT’s Webster Theater. In other northeast Bomb Squad news, the group’s latest DVD Rip It Up also recently won grand prize Ivory Tusk Award, at the Tufts Film Festival.
