In its formative years, Perpetual Groove often remained in perpetual motion, performing on a boat traveling around Savannah, GA. While the quartet has long outgrown its original floating performance space, Perpetual Groove will revisit its cruise concept later this year. The third weekend in September, Perpetual Groove will host a Just Cruisin’: Surf n Turf event at a pair of New York locations. On September 15, Perpetual Groove will perform in the Hudson River aboard the Temptress. A night later, the group will return to solid soil for a show at Manhattan’s Knitting Factory. Tonight, the group will perform at Winston-Salem, NC’s Ziggy’s.
