Looking ahead to future west coast shows for the second time today, we note that one half of the KVHW acronym will reunite for two dates in mid-September. Bassist Bobby Vega will rejoin drummer Alan Hertz Vega along with Hertz’s Garaj Mahal bandmate member Eric Levy at Nells in Monterey on September 15 and 16. KVHW parted ways in December 1999 after Ray White failed to attend a gig, and then when Steve Kimock formed a new group in 2000 it included Vega but featured Jimmy Sanchez behind the kit.
