The Download festival will take place on both the east and west coast later this year. On August 20, G. Love & Special Sauce, the Wailers, 311, the Dropkick Murphys and Jurassic 5, among others, will perform at Mansfield, MAs Tweeter Center, while Beck, the Shins, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Muse, the Mutaytor, Wolfmother and Rogue Wave are slated to appear at the west coast edition of Download September 30 at Mountain View, CAs Shoreline Amphitheatre. A staple on the European festival circuit, Download arrived stateside last summer, featuring Modest Mouse, the Arcade Fire and the Killers, among others. The Shins, in particular, will bounce around the country before then, performing in San Diego, CA (8/5), Chicago (8/6), Brooklyn, NY (8/23) and Austin, TX (9/15-16).
