The first full day of music at Vegoose begins tomorrow at Sam Boyd Stadium & Star Nursery Field. Those who are still preparing to head out, should remember that Conscious Alliance is working with the festival to host its 2nd Annual food drive to benefit the Community Food Bank of Clark County. Last year the drive raised over 2,500 pounds of food, with the intent to double that amount this year. In addition, the first 1,000 patrons to donate 10 non-perishable food items will receive a free limited-edition Vegoose poster created by Stanley Mouse (Low-sodium and heath food oriented products are strongly encouraged as food donation items and Conscious Alliance no longer accepts donations of Ramen Noodles). Meanwhile Vegoose at Night begins this evening with shows from Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley, Keller Williams and Trey Anastasio / Robert Randolph & The Family Band.
