Steve Kimock will return to the stage with longtime bandmate Bobby Vega next month. The guitarist and bass player who appeared together for many years in Zero, the Steve Kimock Band and KVHW will reunite at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver on December 21 and 22. On those two evenings, Kimock and Vegas will join Stephen Perkinss Banyan project. Also on board for those performances will be Frank Zappa alum Ray White, who represented the W in KVHW (The H, to remind you, was current Garaj Mahal drummer Alan Hertz). Willie Waldman will round out the Banyan line-up on trumpet (and also provide the second W we neglected to drop into the headline).
